Privacy Policy
This page is short because the site does very little with your data. OwnCRM (“we”) is a Salesforce-migration engine operated from Texas. The only information we collect is what you type into the free Org X-Ray request form, and we use it for exactly one thing: to reply to you about that request.
§ 01 — What we collectThe Org X-Ray request form
When you submit the form on the landing page, we receive:
- Work email — required, so we can reach you.
- Org size — an approximate Salesforce seat range you pick from a list.
- Company — optional.
Alongside your submission we also store a small amount of technical metadata: the browser user-agent string, a source label identifying which form you used, and the timestamp. Your IP address is used only in memory, momentarily, to rate-limit form abuse — it is not written to our database.
If our server is briefly unreachable, the form falls back to opening a pre-filled email in your own mail client addressed to hello@owncrm.dev. In that case your message reaches us the same way any email would; we do not receive anything you do not send.
§ 02 — Why we collect itPurpose & legal basis
We use your information solely to respond to your Org X-Ray request — to schedule the read-only audit and send you the resulting report. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or automated decisions, and we do not process sensitive data (we never ask for health, biometric, precise-geolocation, or financial-account information).
§ 03 — Cookies & trackingNone
The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party trackers, pixels, fonts, or scripts. Every asset is served from our own domain, so browsing here does not broadcast your visit to anyone else. Because we set no tracking technologies and sell no data, a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser is already honored by default — there is nothing for it to switch off.
§ 04 — Who we share it withNo one — we never sell or share
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or with data brokers. Your submission is stored in a self-hosted PostgreSQL database on our own server in the United States. We disclose it only if compelled by valid legal process, and we would tell you unless legally barred from doing so.
§ 05 — How long we keep itRetention
We keep a request only as long as needed to respond and, if you become a customer, for the duration of that engagement plus what tax and contract records require. If you ask us to delete your request and we have no legal reason to keep it, we do. Idle leads that never become engagements are pruned periodically.
§ 06 — Your rightsAccess, correction, deletion, portability
Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) and comparable US state laws, you may ask us to confirm whether we process your data, access a copy, correct it, delete it, or receive it in a portable form. You may also opt out of any sale or targeted advertising — which is automatic here, since we do neither.
Send any request to hello@owncrm.dev. We respond within 45 days (extendable once by 45 more days where the law allows, with notice). There is no fee for a reasonable request. If we decline, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if unresolved, you may contact the Texas Attorney General.
§ 07 — Contact & changesReaching us, and updates to this policy
Questions or requests: hello@owncrm.dev. If we change this policy, we update the effective date at the top; material changes will be noted on the landing page. Because the site is intentionally cookieless and tracker-free, most changes here will be clarifications rather than new data practices.
